A song is like a spirit possessing your mind, tongue and hands temporarily. After the moment passes through like electricity comes the process of anchoring, tying down the notes through iterations. Here in Decay the iterations, unanchored, are overlaid and the spirit is still struggling to be free, only just caught.
Recorded in a tunnel on a long sunset evening in the South Downs just before solstice, finding the answers to darkness in the lingering light.
